Whakamaru (Protection) is a candle to light when you feel you need for self protection. Draw in your spirit guides / Tūpuna (ancestors) and ask them protect you and to make a powerful connection to your crystal. Once your candle has burnt down you can carry your crystal with you and your guides will be present.
Whakamaru has Abalone shell, Sea Salt and Lemon verbena fragrance oils. As fresh as it gets combining citrus and cool ocean notes.
ABOUT PAUA SHELL (ABALONE)
They believe the shell strengthens the body and the heart of the wearer. With a stronger heart and body, the person is thought to be able to communicate their feelings more clearly. The Maori believe the Paua will bring connectivity and harmony to relationships.
All of our candles are hand poured using 100% soy wax. Soy wax is a naturally odourless vegetable wax that absorbs fragrance and burns cleaner, longer and more evenly than other wax alternatives. Hand pouring ensures even fragrance distribution, resulting in a beautifully scented candle that smells great from beginning to end.

CANDLE MAINTENANCE
After you burn your candle for the first time you can remove your stone and wash in warm soapy water. Your candle will now be infused and charged with the energy and healing properties from your crystal.
Trim your wick each time before lighting
Always place your candle somewhere safe preferably on a heat proof surface .
Never burn more than 4 hours at a time.
